ABIGAIL’S BEST CHILDREN’S & MATERNITY CONSIGNMENT CONTRACT

I understand that after 60 days (Children's Items) or 90 days(Maternity items) on the sales floor unsold items will become expired and the property of Abigail's Best, Inc and will be donated accordingly.  Payouts are done by request after your 60- 90 day consignment period has ended, depending on wich contract you chose. You can shop using your consignor account (up to the available balance amount) at any time during your active consignment.

Since some items will be held for special events such as LSU, Uniforms, Halloween, etc. the consignment is for 60 days from the date it goes on the sales floor.  You will receive 30%-40% of the final price it is sold for. All consignments are subject to sales at any time. Inactive accounts become property of the store after 4 months. Inactive accounts are considered those accounts that have had no activity 60 days after the last consignment drop-off has expired.

No contract can be dissolved by the consignor during the 60-day consignment unless approved by store owner. Unsold items can be picked up between the 50th and 60th day from the date your contract start date is.  Abigail's Best of La, Inc is NOT responsible for loss, theft or damage of items while on consignment with us.  Abigail's Best, Inc. assumes no liability for items sold under the consignor's name.  Abigail's Best, Inc is not responsible for checks lost in the mail. It may take up to 30 days to investigate and re-issue any lost check.

All consigned items are at any time subject to sales, discounts and coupons redeemed at Abigail's BEST of La, Inc.  There is a one time consignor fee of $5.00 to consign with us, and will be deducted from your account at that time.

You can ADD items to your consignment at any time by simply DROPPING OFF MORE ITEMS. The initial signed contract will be valid for all drop-offs thereafter.  Please don't ever be offended by items we do not accept.  We can update our brands list that we accept at any time in order to control our inventory load and to offer the best brands in the best condition for our customers.  If you shop with us, as well as consign with us, you will appreciate how we scrutinize our consignments.  We do not require appointments because we want to make the consignment process as easy as possible for you.

Items found with stains, missing buttons or no longer in style may be donated immediately from drop-off bundle at the store's discretion.  Remember, "WE EXPECT THE BEST, SO YOU CAN, TOO".
